On the afternoon of January 29th, 2015 Colton Shane Wilson went missing from his college, the Colorado Mountain College Leadville campus in Lake County Colorado. During the ensuing days a desperate search was launched to find Colton with little in the way of a lead to what may have happened to him, save for a few seconds of security footage of Colton leaving his college dorm. The Wilson family put up a $10,000 reward for information leading to Colton being found.
On February 6th, 2015 Colorado Forensic Canines, a non-profit volunteer association found Colton’s body in the woods with the help of Bonnie Guzman and K9 Octavia.
